At Providence Aerial, we see the benefit that UAV/UAS (drones) can bring to a wide variety of industries and applications.
With their compact size, low cost to operate and flexibility/maneuverability, these new crafts provide aerial photography and videography services at a reduced cost, improved safety, increased accessibility, and with greater insights than any other means.
However, along with the benefits this new technology provides – there is also great potential for danger and risk. The popularity and easy access of these machines provides the opportunity for those who exhibit poor decision making to endanger themselves and those around them, and cast the overall UAV/UAS (drone) industry in a negative light.
This is why our expert team at Providence Aerial have spent the last year practicing and refining our skills and techniques, and investing in our knowledge and equipment, so when the time came that we could legally provide services to clients, we would have the knowledge, experience, and equipment to operate effectively and safely, to deliver results that truly showcase what these amazing machines can offer, and why people shouldn’t be nervous or afraid of them.
As an FAA Part 107 Certificate holder, our operators are certified by the FAA to have agreed to meet the rules and regulations set forth to protect participants, bystanders, and other aircrafts, while allowing the benefits that UAVs provide to be explored.

Our History
The company was officially founded in 2016
However our love for technology, artistic or creative projects, the outdoors, and wanting to fly goes back many years prior. The invention of modern UAV/UAS/Drone technology has provided an all new avenue to pursue these interests and explore amazing new opportunities!

The introduction of drones into mainstream culture has come on quickly and we find that often times the general public is not sure how they feel about them. The media has done a terrible job in how they are portrayed, and the accessibility of the machines themselves has lead to a lot of irresponsible actions by those who have purchased them.
As part of our mission, we not only want to capture amazing and unique pictures and videos for ourselves and our clients, but also to hopefully educate and show people the opportunities and potential that these new tools provide in a wide variety of applications – as long as they are used responsibly. DJI Inspire 1 Pro
Flying the Inspire 1 from DJI provides with an extremely capable and flexibly flying platform. It’s design, size, and power allow it to provide greater stability, control, and flexibility for shooting. The micro four thirds camera, with interchangeable lenses provides flexibility for shooting options at up to 4K quality – all while operating within the manufacturer’s established and tested weight / balance limits. This combination gives us the power, control, and safety to confidently create!
DJI Osmo Pro
The DJI Osmo Pro brings the stability of the X5 Camera and Gimble System and the image and video clarity of the X5 Camera with M.Zuiko Lens to handheld operations. By using the same camera / lens system on the Osmo and Inspire, we are able to create different shots and capture multiple angles with the same image definition. It’s compact size allows for extreme flexibility in terms of shooting options, and a wireless microphone can optionally be used, allowing us to capture audio which is as clear as the picture.

Our post processing work is performed on Apple Retina Macbook Pro and iMac computers, allowing us to work with 4K video and extremely high resolution photos. We utilize Final Cut Pro X and the Adobe Creative Suite of products for all of our editing. This combination of hardware and software allows us to deliver high quality results in practically any format needed by our clients.
